Parts of Speech - Pronouns

The personal pronounsPersonal pronouns refer to (1) the speaker or speakers, (2) those spoken to, or (3) those spoken about.  Source: Lesson 21 myself, yourself, yourselves, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, and themselves are compound personal pronouns combining the personal pronoun with self or selves.  They are used as reflexive pronouns.

Example:
Carl hurt himself.
